Andrea's NAHJ Success Story
"Like most college students, the inevitable fear of life after San Diego State University began to sink in months before graduation. I did not have any connections or an idea of where I wanted to work, so I decided to attend an National Association of Hispanic Journalist event where I met the publisher and team of La Prensa San Diego. After exchanging business cards and a couple of emails, I had an interview and a job offer. It is thanks to NAHJ that I was able to connect with them and now I am a reporter and social media manager for San Diego’s only bilingual newspaper LPSD."
